Abstract

India began with a mixed economy consisting of a state-owned public sector, and a private sector subject
to industrial licensing and many administrative controls on imports, exports and foreign exchange. The
global economy of the day has endangered the survival of every organization and in particular those who
want to have a competitive edge over the others. The competitive edge may be a distant dream in the
absence of superior quality products and services which otherwise is the function of well-satisfied
employees. The better performing companies have raised their market share and profits for inclusive
growth. In the competition for talent, companies have raised the total managerial compensation,
consisting of salaries, allowances, bonuses, benefits, stock options. The paper enumerates the analysis of
various factors that affects the satisfaction level of employees in the organization. Research shows that
satisfied and motivated employees will create higher customer satisfaction and in turn positively influence
organizational performance for inclusive growth.
