Management Insights from Indian Spirituality: Unlearning Knowledge to Uncover Wisdom

Abstract

This paper is an attempt to contemporize Indian spiritual traditions for modern sensibility, management principles, and practices. Insights have been taken from Indian spiritual literature and enlightened spiritual Gurus. Management practices need to be driven by wisdom and Indian spiritual tradition merits serious attention for the same. This paper deconstructs the Indian epics for modern times and managerial insights and also highlights the distinction between religion and spirituality.
